we run.

Nothing is published until it has survived a research process designed to kill it. Some are fully automated and trade for you; others are indicators you act on yourself; one is a tool for sizing whatever you trade. Each one says which it is. Select any to open its detail and pricing.

COS is a fully automated system that trades the Nasdaq-100. It takes one market, follows a fixed set of rules, and makes no discretionary decisions. It runs inside your own brokerage account without supervision.

Across 27.4 years of testing it compounded at 22.78% a year, against 10.85% for the Nasdaq-100 itself. Its worst peak-to-trough loss was −35.3%; the index's was −83.0%. More return, and materially less of the pain that makes an index this volatile hard to actually hold.

It is designed for a Roth IRA. COS trades often, so in a taxable account most of its profit would be short-term gains taxed at your ordinary income rate — the single largest drag on a strategy like this. Inside a Roth, growth and qualified withdrawals are untaxed, so the compounding above is what you keep.

Requirements

Computer
A Mac running macOS 12 or newer. Windows and Linux are not supported. The system installs and schedules itself on macOS only.
Always on
The Mac must be awake, plugged in and online at 9:30am and 4:00pm ET on trading days. A sleeping Mac does not trade. A Mac mini or any always-on machine is ideal.
Brokerage
An account at Interactive Brokers or Alpaca. You keep custody of your own money — we never hold or touch your funds.
Comfort
You will paste a few commands into Terminal during setup. No coding required, but you should be willing to follow written steps.
§ Pricing TradingView username required · no performance fee

At checkout Momentum Plus is an indicator — you place every trade yourself. It marks setups and fires alerts; it does not place orders or connect to a broker. Enter your exact TradingView username at checkout: access is granted to that account, cannot be transferred, and cannot be granted from an email address alone. A free TradingView account is all you need.

Momentum Plus trades breakouts from quiet markets, in the direction of the long-term trend. It waits for a market to coil into a tight range, enters when price breaks out with momentum behind it, pyramids into the move as it continues, and exits the whole position on a stepped stop or a trend break.

Most trades are small losers. That is how trend following works and we would rather say it here than have you discover it in month two. The system makes money by keeping losses small and letting a small number of large trends run: a low win rate paired with a high profit factor. If a long string of small losses would make you switch it off, this is the wrong product for you.

It is long-only and single-instrument. You run it on whatever market you choose. Six markets are officially recommended because they are the ones we have tested and published results for — those results are below, in full, with every setting stated.

What makes it different

Account fit
It tells you when a contract is too big for your account. The info table shows what one contract risks as a percentage of your equity, and counts the occasions where even a single contract already exceeds the risk you set. Trading a contract the account cannot support is the most common way retail traders blow up in futures.
Sizing
Position size scales with your equity and the distance to the stop — not a fixed number of contracts. The percentage returns below are therefore real numbers rather than an artifact of the starting capital.
Risk visible
A red band marks the capital actually at risk, a green band the profit zone. When the stop ratchets above your entry the red band disappears — the trade is now risk-free, at a glance.
Costs
Slippage and commission are modelled in the backtest rather than omitted.
§ How it works Six steps, in order

01

Trend filter

Only takes long trades while price is above its long-term average. It never fights the primary trend.

02

Consolidation

Waits for the market to go quiet and coil into a tight range. It does not chase markets that have already run.

03

Breakout entry

Enters when price breaks that range with momentum confirmation, scaled to each market's own volatility.

04

Pyramiding

Adds up to five units as the move continues, because most of the profit comes from a small number of large trends.

05

Stepped stop

The stop ratchets up on every new breakout, including at full size. It never moves down.

06

Exit

Closes the entire position at once — on the stop, or when price closes back below the trend filter.

§ Results, per market Hypothetical · in-sample · $100k

There is no single headline number for Momentum Plus, and we are not going to invent one. Results change with the market, the risk setting and the contract size. Here is every market we recommend, with the settings that produced each row.

Before you trade any new symbol

Use micros
Full-size contracts on a small account are ruinous, not merely worse. In our own testing, silver and crude oil destroyed a $100,000 account on full-size contracts because the minimum one-contract position was larger than the account could absorb. Use micro contracts (MGC, MNQ, MBT and so on) unless your account is genuinely large.
Check the table
Before trading a symbol you have not run before, read the "1 contract risks X% of equity" row in the indicator's info table. If that number is larger than the risk you intend to take, the contract is too big for your account. The product tells you this; most do not.

§ Who this is for And who it is not for

01

For

Self-directed futures traders who want a rules-based system and will actually follow it. People who understand drawdowns and can hold through one. Accounts with enough capital to trade at least micro contracts responsibly.

02

Not for

Anyone expecting consistent monthly income or shallow drawdowns. Anyone who will abandon a system during a normal losing stretch — and there will be long ones. Beginners with no understanding of futures leverage. Anyone looking for a bot: Momentum Plus does not place trades.

What you receive

Included
Invite-only access to the Momentum Plus script and its backtest on TradingView, all four alert conditions, every configuration option, and guidance on which contracts suit which account sizes.
Not included
No trade signals delivered to you, no portfolio management, no bot, no broker integration, and no financial advice. You add the script to your own charts and trade your own account.
§ What you are taking on Futures · read in full

Futures trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. Because futures are leveraged, you can lose more than your initial investment. The figures on this page are hypothetical, simulated backtest results, not the record of a real account.

Hypothetical results have inherent limitations. They are prepared with the benefit of hindsight, they do not represent actual trading, and they cannot account for every cost or for the effect of a real order on the market. The results above are in-sample: the settings were chosen knowing this data. Past performance — actual or hypothetical — does not indicate future results.

Bedrock Algorithms is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer or commodity trading advisor. Momentum Plus is an analytical tool you apply to your own charts and act on at your own discretion. Nothing here is investment advice or a recommendation to trade any market.

§ Pricing Monthly · cancel any time · no tiers

After you subscribe The app lives at rdesk.bedrockalgorithms.com. You log in there with the same email you use at checkout — that match is how access is granted. A 6-digit code arrives by email each time; there is no password to remember. Nothing to install: it runs in your browser.

Size is a symptom. Risk is the input. Most traders pick a size and hope the risk works out. R-Desk does it the other way round. You set one number — the percentage of your account you are willing to lose on a trade, your 1R — and from then on you never type a size again. Enter a price and a stop; R-Desk solves the size that risks exactly 1R.

That matters most when a trade is working. Trail your stop as price moves your way and your earlier tranches lock in profit, freeing risk budget. The pyramid solver tells you exactly how much you can add while your total open risk stays at 1R — so exposure grows while risk does not.

Everything is measured in R. A closed trade is +2.4R or −0.8R, not a dollar figure your brain reacts to. Over time the journal becomes an honest record of what you actually do.

Your data stays yours

No server
R-Desk has no server, no database, and keeps no account beyond the email you log in with. Your journal is saved in your own browser, on your own device. It is never uploaded — to us or to anyone.
Locked down
The page is technically restricted so that the only thing it can talk to is Hyperliquid's public price feed. It cannot send your trades anywhere, including back to us. You can verify this in your browser's developer tools.
Back it up
Because the journal lives only in your browser, clearing browser data erases it. A one-click Backup saves a file you own. Use it — we cannot restore a journal we never had.
§ What it does In full

01

1R sizing

Set your risk unit once. Every trade is sized to it automatically from the price and the stop you enter.

02

Pyramid solver

Add to winners while total open risk stays pinned at 1R. It accounts for the profit your trailed stops have already locked in.

03

Quick mode

Price, stop, size — straight to your clipboard. Built for fast entries.

04

Trade journal

Open positions tracked live, closed trades logged in R, notes on every trade.

05

Hyperliquid sync

Reads your positions, fills, stops and mark prices and logs trades automatically. Read-only, from your public wallet address only — it can never trade.

06

Import from any broker

Drop in a CSV or Excel export from wherever you trade, and past trades become journal entries.

07

Longs and shorts, shares or fractional crypto

Light and dark. Runs in any modern browser, with a download-offline-copy option inside the app if you want a local file.

§ Specification R-Desk

Position-sizing calculator and trade journal. A tool, not a trading system — it has no strategy, no signals, and no backtest.
Platform
Any modern browser, any device. Nothing to install.
The email you subscribed with, plus a 6-digit code sent to it. No password.
Data
Stored in your browser only. Never uploaded. Back it up with the built-in Backup.

Hyperliquid, read-only via public wallet address. Everything else by CSV or Excel import.
Billing
$10 a month through Stripe. Cancel any time from your billing portal; access runs to the end of the paid period.

R-Desk is a calculator and a journal. It does not recommend trades, generate signals, or tell you when to buy or sell. It sizes the trades you have already decided to take, and records what happened. Nothing in it is financial advice, and it is provided as-is. Your journal lives only in your browser: back it up, because we cannot recover it for you.

Nothing to show yet, on purpose.

Further systems are in development. None will be published, priced or offered until it has cleared the same out-of-sample and cost-sensitivity standard COS did — and most candidates do not. We would rather run one honest system than sell a catalogue. If you want to hear when the next one clears, say so and we will write to you.
